Interim Leader - Consultant
Jeffrey has twenty plus years of healthcare experience and has held several different roles within the healthcare continuum. To name a few, Jeffrey has worked as physical therapy tech, RT tech, phlebotomist, staff nurse, clinical nursing instructor, case manager, nursing supervisor, nursing director, ACNO and CNO. He has worked from the small 25-bed critical access hospital to the large 450+ bed suburban hospital. Jeffrey is a leader who considers his proven expertise in building teams, improving departmental and organizational productivity, refining operational efficiencies, enhancing department quality, providing accurate chargemaster review. Jeffrey also has been known to bring stability to departments in which there is great instability....and has proven this over and over again. Jeffrey is a hands-on leader allowing him to develop relationships quickly and also adapt to situations quickly.
Initially starting his career as a staff nurse on a Medical/Surgical Unit, Jeffrey eventually found his nursing passion in a 42-bed emergency department, working his way to a supervisor role. He has been a nursing leader since 2002 and has managed multiple departments...ED, ICU, Critical Care, Step Down, and Cardiac Telemetry. Jeffrey has bee working as an interim leader since 2016. He is BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ICS (Incident Command) and Lean certified. Jeffrey receives his greatest satisfaction in making a difference for the positive.
A few of Jeffrey's accomplishments include leading an organization towards successful SCPC Level 4 chest pain accreditation; chargemaster assessment resulting in over $500,000 in additional revenue; improving ED patient flow thereby decreasing ED throughput times, overall length of stay, and LWBS rates; and mentoring others to be future organizational leaders/successors
